Presentation of the town
Donceel is a small, rural town, which, since a number of communes (smallest Belgian administrative entity) came together on 31 December 1976, has included four villages: Donceel, Haneffe, Jeneffe and Limont.
Right in the heart of Hesbaye, this fertile region in Limont comprises wide open agricultural land, and in particular, it has some typical examples of square farms.
In an especially convenient location, Donceel is within easy reach of the Brussels – Liège motorways (E 40) and the Wallonia motorway (E411), as well as the roads linking Amay and Tongres, Liège and Hannut and Huy and Waremme. Bierset airport is a mere 10 km away.
